UNIQA Insurance Group AG in Vienna seeks a Business Analyst to support and enhance group-wide closing and reporting, focusing on data quality, analytics, and efficient closing. The role collaborates with actuaries, accountants, IT, and transformation initiatives to ensure high-quality reporting.

You will act as a central coordinator for data integration, drive automation and standardization, and maintain close alignment with Group Finance stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree or equivalent education in Finance, Business Informatics, Economics, or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in the financial services or insurance sector; solid knowledge of IFRS17 is a strong advantage.
• Experience or strong interest in modern finance and data platforms; capabilities in SAP, SQL, Microsoft Office, or Power BI are an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international, multi-stakeholder environment.
• High level of reliability, ownership, and responsibility, with the ability to perform under time pressure.

Aufgaben

• Support and enhance Group-wide closing and reporting processes, focusing on capability building, data quality, analytics, and efficient closing.
• Act as a central coordination and escalation point for Group companies within the financial data integration process.
• Analyze and resolve complex IFRS17 topics (methodology, data quality, system logic, reporting requirements).
• Support the stable operation and continuous improvement of the reporting landscape, including the central data integration and subledger solutions as an enabler.
• Drive process optimization and operational excellence, identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and functional enhancements.
• Work with actuaries, accountants, IT, and transformation initiatives to ensure consistent and high-quality reporting.
• Serve as a key contact person for data quality in Group Finance.
