We currently have a job opening for a: Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master's degree) for a full-time, four-year position Organizational unit: Institute of Business Informatics - Information Engineering Entry date: 11/16/2026 Job Reference Number: 25600-2026-002144 Job Duties: Participation in research and contribution to research projects, particularly in the areas of digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence in business and higher education contexts.
The research focuses on AI competencies and changing roles in IT and development teams, the integration of AI into university teaching, and IT sustainability (e. g. , energy and resource consumption of IT systems, including in the context of AI).
Teaching duties at the institute (in German and English) Assistance with institute administration and course coordination Possibility to work on the dissertation Your Qualifications: The successful candidate must hold a diploma/master's degree in business informatics, computer science or business administration with a corresponding specialization or equivalent qualification or equivalent university degree abroad. Interest in research in the fields of digitalization and artificial intelligence in business, IT teams, and university teaching, as well as sustainable IT Very good written and spoken German and English (German level C1, English level C1) Experience in relevant research projects and/or relevant practical experience as well as experience in teaching are recommended Ideally, experience with the use of AI tools in business or higher education contexts, as well as knowledge of empirical research methods Social competence and personal engagement are required
