Prolicht is an internationally successful premium manufacturer of architectural lighting concepts. Individual lighting solutions for professional requirements are developed and built in record time at our home base in Götzens and distributed worldwide via a global network. Due to our international success and steady growth, we are expanding our existing IT team with immediate effect and are looking for an experienced developer who wants to actively promote the topic of digitization with us.

The area of responsibility includes the following activities

• Customizing and further development of software solutions for automatic data processing
• Implementation and co-design of powerful REST APIs for connecting third-party systems
• Ensuring stability and infrastructure, including regular maintenance measures and continuous optimization

The requirements for this position are:

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) in the field of IT/computer science
• Sound knowledge of Go (Golang) and the development of high-performance, scalable applications as well as REST APIs
• Experience in working with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ideally with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch
• Practical knowledge of Linux systems and the successful use of tools such as Docker as well as CI/CD tools (e.g. Git, GitLab). e.g. Git, GitLab)
• Know-how with agile methods, e.g. Scrum
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
