Hilti Corporation in Austria seeks a Transport Specialist to optimize and monitor the Global Transport 3PL replenishment network. You will participate in the TMS rollout, gradually taking responsibility for transportation planning and coordination with regional teams.

The role requires a logistics/operations background, strong organization, and proficiency in German and English. Expect collaboration with 3PLs, air/sea freight coordination, and flexible working hours as part of Hilti’s logistics

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field, or vocational training with 1–3 years international shipping coordination experience.
• Hands-on experience with a Transportation Management System and ERP tools.
• Solid understanding of Incoterms and international shipping (air/sea).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities under time pressure.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and improve 3PL performance (air and ocean) and conduct review meetings.
• Drive service quality improvements with 3PL suppliers toward on-time delivery 95%+.
• Provide shipment visibility and act as daily operations POC with Hilti and 3PL.
• Handle airfreight/sea freight damage and claims with Hilti Insurance and 3PLs.
• Roll out and plan the new TMS, including change management and optimization.
• Coordinate transportation planning across regional organizations within the new system.
• Address escalations and ensure timely, correct issue resolution.
