Job summary

HOERBIGER Automatisierungstechnik Holding GmbH is seeking a Senior Group Tax Manager to lead complex international tax projects across the HOERBIGER Group. You will collaborate with Finance, Legal and senior management to translate tax requirements into practical business solutions in a multinational environment.

The role requires at least 8 years in international taxation, strong project leadership, and fluency in English and German.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of international taxation experience.
Proven track record leading complex international tax projects.
Strong ownership, judgment and pragmatic approach to tax solutions.
Clear communication with senior stakeholders, advisors and authorities.
Master’s degree in Tax, Finance, Business Administration, Law, Economics, or equivalent.
Fluent in English and German; ability to collaborate in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Lead international tax projects from concept to implementation across countries and entities.
Drive strategic transactions, including tax workstreams for M&A and restructurings.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams, local organizations, and external advisors to translate tax requirements into business solutions.
Manage relationships with tax authorities and external tax advisors; ensure professional cooperation.
Oversee priorities, timelines, dependencies and tax risks to keep projects moving forward.
Serve as a key interface between Tax, Finance, Legal, and the business to clarify complex tax matters.
