Job summary

Takeda is seeking a senior leader in Process Technology & Innovation within Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) to define and drive the technology strategy across the global network.

You will lead an innovation portfolio, collaborate with Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Digital teams, and advance capabilities in automation, digital solutions and AI-enabled manufacturing to boost productivity and supply reliability.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Automation, Data Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global technology and innovation strategy for the assigned manufacturing modality with a multi-year roadmap.
• Own and govern the innovation portfolio across process technologies, automation, digital solutions and AI-enabled manufacturing.
• Drive industrialization and deployment from proof-of-concept to GMP deployment and lifecycle management.
• Establish technology blueprint and standards for harmonization, scalability and operational excellence.
• Deliver measurable improvements in manufacturing performance including productivity, quality and supply reliability.
• Lead cross-functional innovation teams and governance forums with S&OP, Engineering, Digital and Quality.
• Develop external partnerships with academia, technology providers and industry to identify opportunities.
• Advise senior leadership on investments, performance metrics and organizational capabilities.
