Voith Group is seeking a Commercial Project Director (f/m/d) in St. Pölten, Austria.

You will take overall commercial responsibility for international mega projects, leading commercial functions and negotiating at executive level to ensure successful outcomes. Ideal candidates have a senior track record in commercial leadership within large-scale projects, strong governance and risk management capabilities, and business-fluent English.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Business Administration or Law or comparable qualification.
• Several years of senior commercial leadership experience in international project business.
• Strong expertise in commercial project management, risk management, and cash flow management.
• Proven ability to lead international multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent business English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assume overall commercial responsibility for an international mega project.
• Lead and coordinate Project Controlling, Commercial Management, Contract Management and Risk Management.
• Prepare decision papers, business scenarios, commercial assessments and risk evaluations.
• Ensure transparency of project commercial performance and report to Executive Management.
• Represent commercial interests to customers, partners, suppliers and lenders.
• Lead complex negotiations at executive level and manage disputes.
• Steer commercial objectives with the Project Director and support escalation.
• Assess impact of changes on contracts, costs, schedule and cash flow.
• Lead claim management and develop robust strategies.
• Ensure governance, export control and risk management compliance.
