Job summary

ProChema GmbH is seeking a logistics coordinator to actively negotiate rates and schedules with logistics partners, manage end-to-end customer orders, and monitor lead times across Europe.

You will inform product management about market developments, support in offers to customers worldwide, and oversee inventory and warehouse movements while handling supply chain documents such as BLs and CMRs.

Qualifications

• Education as forwarding agent or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics.
• Experience with transport, warehouse logistics, customs, and freight providers.
• Experience with dangerous goods transport is an advantage.
• Fluent English; other languages welcome.
• Strong MS Office skills; willingness to learn ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate costs and schedules for logistics services with our logistics partners.
• Handle customer orders operationally from placing orders to organizing overseas transportation and delivery; monitor lead times.
• Inform product management about developments in the logistics market and support offers for customers.
• Monitor inventory and schedule inbound/outbound movements in our warehouses across Europe.
• Handle all kinds of documents (BLs, CMRs, etc.) in the supply chain.
