Iax GmbH in Austria is seeking an senior legal adviser to lead contract drafting, negotiations, and sovereign treaty activities.

You will advise on maritime law, UNCLOS, and environmental compliance, coordinating with government partners and corporate counsel.

The role focuses on strategic governance, multi-party contracts, and high-level negotiations between the company and ministries to advance regulatory and business objectives.

Responsabilités

• Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Structure, review, and finalize binding legal agreements, MOUs, and sovereign treaties between OACM, national governments, ministries of environment/tourism, and corporate partners.
• Maritime & International Sea Law Compliance: Advise on legal frameworks surrounding international waters, UNCLOS, sub-surface marine debris extraction, and coastal jurisdiction protocols.
• Corporate & Government Governance: Ensure all multi-party contracts comply with international trade law, environmental regulatory standards, ESG financing frameworks, and sovereign immunity protocols.
• Strategic Legal Advocacy: Facilitate and lead high-level legal negotiations between the OACM Legal Department and government legal advisors, ministers of justice, and corporate general counsels.
