Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH, a Group Company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, seeks a qualified Controller to support global financial steering and broad controlling activities. You will work with global teams to contribute to corporate financial processes.

Responsibilities include cost center budgeting, HQ cost monitoring, global service allocation, and coordination of the planning process in Tagetik.

Qualifikationen

• Completed higher-level school with a focus on business administration and accounting, plus professional Controlling experience or a degree in Controlling.
• Interest in IT tools and strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Manage cost centers across global operations, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Monitor HQ costs and allocate global services to entities.
• Contribute to global corporate planning in the Tagetik system.
• Analyze consolidated monthly and quarterly financials and budgets.
• Prepare presentations for management, shareholders and Primetals locations.
• Collaborate with Global Accounting, IT, Strategy and Taxes.

GLOBAL CONTROLLING (F/M/*)

WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?

The Global Controlling department (FS GC R) in Linz is seeking a qualified Controller to support global financial steering and contribute to a broad range of controlling activities for our international organization. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with global teams and gain valuable insights into corporate financial processes.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Cost center controlling, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting of the global cost centers
• Headquarter Controlling with the following tasks: monitoring and reporting of headquarter costs
• Determination and coordination of the allocation of global services to the entities
• Participation in the global corporate planning process in the reporting system (Tagetik)
• Analysis of the consolidated monthly and quarterly financial statements, plans, and budgets
• Preparation of various presentations for management, shareholders and other Primetals Technologies locations
• Close collaboration with other departments (e.g., Global Accounting, IT, Strategy, Taxes)

WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THIS JOB?

• Completed higher-level school with a focus on business administration and accounting, combined with professional experience in Controlling or a degree in Business Administration or Controlling
• Interest in IT tools
• Excellent use of the MS Office suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• SAP and Tagetik knowledge is an advantage
• Precise and analytical working style with a strong affinity for numbers
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
