Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH in Linz is seeking a qualified Controller for the Global Controlling department. You will support global financial steering and contribute to budgeting, planning and reporting across international teams.

The role requires strong analytical skills, English proficiency, and experience with Controlling tools like SAP and Tagetik. You will collaborate with Global Accounting, IT and strategy teams in a diverse environment.

Qualifikationen

• Completed higher-level school with a focus on business administration and accounting.
• Experience in Controlling or a degree in Business Administration or Controlling is expected.
• Strong IT affinity and interest in IT tools.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.

Aufgaben

• Cost center controlling, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting of global cost centers.
• Headquarter Controlling: monitoring and reporting of headquarter costs.
• Allocation of global services to entities and coordination.
• Participation in the global corporate planning process in Tagetik.
• Analysis of consolidated monthly/quarterly financial statements, plans and budgets.
• Preparation of presentations for management, shareholders and Primetals locations.

GLOBAL CONTROLLING (F/M/*)

WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES? The Global Controlling department (FS GC R) in Linz is seeking a qualified Controller to support global financial steering and contribute to a broad range of controlling activities for our international organization. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with global teams and gain valuable insights into corporate financial processes.

• Cost center controlling, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting of the global cost centers
• Headquarter Controlling with the following tasks: monitoring and reporting of headquarter costs
• Determination and coordination of the allocation of global services to the entities
• Participation in the global corporate planning process in the reporting system (Tagetik)
• Analysis of the consolidated monthly and quarterly financial statements, plans, and budgets
• Preparation of various presentations for management, shareholders and other Primetals Technologies locations
• Close collaboration with other departments (e.g., Global Accounting, IT, Strategy, Taxes)

WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THIS JOB?

• Completed higher-level school with a focus on business administration and accounting, combined with professional experience in Controlling or a degree in Business Administration or Controlling
• Interest in IT tools
• Excellent use of the MS Office suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• SAP and Tagetik knowledge is an advantage
• Precise and analytical working style with a strong affinity for numbers
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
