IMS Nanofabrication, headquartered in Austria with international presence, seeks a Cleaning & Contamination Control Expert to lead and improve our cleanroom cleaning system. You will shape standards, prevent contamination, and drive manufacturing excellence across assemblies of metallic components.

The role requires a degree in engineering or natural sciences, multiple years in a cleanroom, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences or equivalent technical qualification.
• Several years of experience in a cleanroom environment (ISO 5 or higher).
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Demonstrated experience in defining and validating cleaning processes.
• Familiarity with cleanliness classification standards and testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop, define and standardize cleaning processes to meet required cleanliness class.
• Ensure reproducible achievement of cleanliness classes through validated procedures.
• Establish scalable, audit-ready cleaning standards.
• Drive continuous optimization focusing on quality, efficiency and sustainability.
• Analyze particle sources in the cleanroom and implement preventive strategies.
• Establish monitoring, escalation and improvement mechanisms.
• Promote cleanroom discipline and contamination awareness across the organization.
