Job summary

INNIO Group is a globally distributed energy solutions provider seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to define and execute its worldwide cybersecurity strategy. You will guard information, systems and digital products while enabling secure growth and transformation.

Based in Austria and reporting to the CIO, you will lead a high‑performing team, drive risk management, governance, incident response and cloud/OT security across the enterprise, with global responsibilities and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Eng or related field.
• Extensive leadership experience in cybersecurity at a CISO level.
• Proven track record in developing cybersecurity strategies, governance frameworks, and global security programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute INNIO’s global cybersecurity strategy, governance framework, and security roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead cyber risk management, security policies, controls, and regulatory compliance across the enterprise.
• Oversee security operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and cyber crisis readiness.
• Drive cybersecurity priorities across the business and ensure risks are considered in key technology and investment decisions.
• Strengthen security across cloud, infrastructure, applications, identity & access management, OT, and digital products.
• Embed cybersecurity requirements into technology initiatives, digital transformation programs, acquisitions and third-party ecosystems.
• Build and lead a high-performing global cybersecurity team, fostering a strong security culture.
• Advise executive leadership on cyber risks, incidents, and investments; represent INNIO externally.
