Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Clinical Pathologist to perform diagnostic evaluations in clinical pathology and provide follow-up consultations while maintaining high quality and timely service. The role can be virtual or based in IDEXX labs in Europe.

You will interpret gross and microscopic specimens, generate reports, and support clients and internal teams to advance veterinary medicine. Requirements include board certification in clinical pathology (ACVP/ECVCP or local boards), fluency in German and

Qualifications

Board certification in clinical pathology (ACVP/ECVCP) or local equivalent is required.
Fluency in German and English is essential.
Strong communication and customer service orientation expected.
Typing and dictation ability is required.
Experience in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform gross and microscopic examination of clinical pathology specimens and prepare pathology reports on time.
Meet caseload and turnaround expectations.
Provide telephone consultations to clients.
Consult with and assist other pathologists as needed.
Collaborate with laboratory personnel and act as pathologist on duty.
Promote IDEXX to clients and maintain professional relationships.
Participate in quality control programs and continuing education.
