Mercor is seeking experienced German Linguistic Experts to join an AI research project in partnership with a leading research lab. The role centers on evaluating how effectively a large language model (LLM) performs in German-language tasks and on curating high-quality German linguistic data to train and improve the model’s understanding and generation capabilities.

Qualifikationen

• Native or near-native fluency in German with strong grammar and style.
• Professional experience in literary editing, copywriting, criticism, or NLP-related linguistic annotation in German.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify translation issues or unnatural phrasing.

• Evaluate the quality and accuracy of LLM-generated German text across various use cases.
• Edit and refine German content to meet linguistic, cultural, and literary standards.
• Annotate German texts for grammatical, syntactic, semantic, and stylistic features.
