EMTensor GmbH in Vienna is seeking a full-stack developer to build the clinician and operator UI for our medical imaging device, while also contributing to backend services and cloud deployment. You will own features end-to-end in a regulated environment, balancing usability with robust software practices.

The role emphasizes frontend work in Node.js, Python/FastAPI backend services, and collaboration on CI/CD and Azure cloud operations to support a compliant medical software platform.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years of professional software development experience.

• Frontend / UI (Main Focus): Design and build a clean, intuitive, easy-to-use web UI based on Node.js.

About Us

EMTensor is a medical technology company developing a new generation of brain imaging. Our electromagnetic tomography system uses safe, low-power electromagnetic fields to image the brain non-invasively, with the goal of supporting fast diagnosis of stroke and traumatic brain injury, conditions where every minute counts.

Behind the technology are decades of research and a growing international patent portfolio. We run two labs, one in Vienna, Austria, and one in Bangalore, India, where a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists works together with specialised development partners to turn this technology into a certified Class IIb medical device. Your Role

You will develop the software that clinicians and operators use to work with our device. Your main focus will be building a clear, intuitive user interface, while also contributing to backend services and supporting our cloud and deployment infrastructure.

This is a multi-skill role for a developer who is comfortable owning features end to end in a regulated environment.
