Job Description:

The Financial Analyst will work for the Financial Planning, Analysis, and Accounting Department supporting Manufacturing.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Reporting, analysis, forecasting, and closing activities
  • Meet reporting & closing deadlines and ensure high-quality reporting standards
  • Support accounting activities (e.g., accruals)
  • Manufacturing spending control and analysis
  • Forecasting & tracking of headcount and monitoring of hiring plans
  • Forecasting and tracking of non-headcount related expenditures
  • Support manufacturing and quality cost reserve processes
  • Execute variance analysis and forecasting
  • Support the balance sheet review process
  • Cost accounting activities for manufacturing
  • Finance business partnering to drive operational efficiency gains
  • Continuous improvement of process flow to achieve more predictable financial data

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, or related field
  • Work experience in accounting and controlling
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Team player
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • Flexible, organized, and able to work under time constraints and deadlines
  • Ability to work within finance and with all levels of operational and management personnel
  • Experience in SAP R3/FI-CO and Business Warehouse
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in database and workflow systems, e.g., Alteryx

Compensation:

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry, in occupation groups E or F, depending on education and experience. The salary is paid 14 times per year. A higher salary is negotiable based on expertise and skills. The candidate will be hired through a third-party employment agency.
