As we enter an exciting new phase of growth with strategic expansion—both interstate and into radiology—we are looking for a dedicated Finance Manager to lead our financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic planning. This is a senior leadership role that offers the opportunity to shape the financial direction of a dynamic and growing healthcare business.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Finance Manager will lead the finance function across the organisation, including:
Managing financial reporting, cash flow, and budgeting processes.
Day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and tax obligations.
Driving financial performance through forecasting, cost control, and analysis of business KPIs through the use of modelling.
Supporting strategic decision-making with clear financial insights and business cases.
Leading and mentoring a small finance team and working closely with other departments (HR, Operations, Clinical Services).
Managing relationships with external accountants, auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Business Development –Advise the Executive Team on pricing, expansion, due diligence and funding proposals.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
CPA or CA qualification (mandatory) and membership with a recognised Australian accounting body.
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in financial management, preferably in healthcare, allied health, or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance within an Australian business context
Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software; experience with payroll systems and financial modelling tools (i.e Power Bi).
Ability to lead, influence and collaborate across departments and with senior leadership.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with high attention to detail.
