Jaipur Robotics SA seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to install and configure edge computers, cameras and networking gear at customer sites, ensuring reliable system commissioning and cloud connectivity. You will collaborate with engineering teams to resolve field issues and document configurations.

The role is hybrid across Europe with frequent travel, offering ownership from day one and direct collaboration with founders and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in IT/CS/Automation/Electronics or related field.
• Experience with edge deployment and field hardware is a plus.
• Comfortable with Linux (Ubuntu), SSH and CLI.

Aufgaben

• Prepare installation material before customer deployments.
• Install and configure edge computers, cameras, networking equipment, and sensors.
• Configure Linux-based edge devices, routers, switches, and local network infrastructure.
• Support wiring, cabling, mounting, and hardware setup on-site.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging during installation.
• Coordinate with software, hardware, and AI teams to resolve field issues.
• Document installation steps and configurations.
• Support remote and on-site commissioning activities.
