Overview

We are a growing specialist in high-quality commercial windows, doors, cladding, and shrouds, recognised for precision, durability, and innovative architectural solutions. With a strong pipeline of bespoke projects and a reputation for excellence, we are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead our fabrication team and help drive our continued success.

The Role

You will take full ownership of the day-to-day operations in our Melbourne factory, managing a team of around 10 fabricators. This role requires strong hands-on leadership, proven technical knowledge in window and door manufacturing, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of aluminium window & door fabricators
  • Schedule and allocate daily workflow, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification
  • Maintain strict quality control, ensuring compliance with drawings and industry standards
  • Support prototyping, problem-solving, and complex assemblies on the factory floor
  • Collaborate closely with planning, procurement, and project managers to ensure material readiness and smooth delivery
  • Coordinate deliveries to site, ensuring projects flow smoothly and are delivered on time
  • Foster a safe, efficient, and performance-driven workplace culture
About You
  • Extensive knowledge of different aluminium window extrusions
  • Strong factory leadership background with hands-on management style
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with high attention to detail
  • Practical problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • V6 or LOGIKAL experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Relevant trade or management qualifications (preferred but not essential)
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred but not essential)
