The group you’ll be a part of

In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam’s etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions help solve major challenges in the semiconductor industry.

What You’ll Do

Working within the Lab Operations organization, your main duties will include supporting the daily operation of the lab facilities.

  • Operate and maintain the lab chemistry delivery and safety systems in accordance with company EH&S standards and local regulations.
  • Manage scrubbers and chemicals waste neutralization systems, including maintaining pH calibrations, sensors, alarms, and refilling chemicals.
  • Install and rework general lab facilities such as cooling water, DI-water, chemical drains, CDA, nitrogen, oxygen, CO2, vacuum lines, exhaust systems, and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate waste management, including chemical and hazardous waste disposal.
  • Provide periodic on-call coverage for facilities.
  • Manage lab supplies, including ordering and storing chemistries, gases, wafers, and maintaining safety equipment and PPE.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship training (LAP).
  • Technical high school degree such as HTL or FBS is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of electrical systems and wiring schematics.
  • Proficiency with MS-Windows and MS-Office.
  • Ability to work independently, flexibility, and capability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pipelines, plumbing, or flow plans.
  • Experience in chemical laboratories or clean rooms.

What We're Offering

This position is covered by the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry, in occupation groups D or E based on education. Salary is negotiable and paid 14 times per year.
