Work side by side with top leadership, contribute directly to high-impact strategic initiatives, and shape the future of a fast-growing startup. Your areas of responsibility

  • Support and lead cross-functional initiatives related to financial performance, operational improvements, strategic planning, and organizational development
  • Drive the execution of confidential strategic topics such as budgeting, ESG, M&A preparation, and leadership steering
  • Prepare and structure analysis, presentations, and dashboards to communicate complex insights and provide recommendations for executive decision-making
  • Help coordinate and align Finance, Corporate Development, Operations, and other stakeholders toward divisional goals
  • Act as a sparring partner to the CFOO on business priorities and structure new initiatives from idea to implementation
  • Manage and continuously improve reporting, documentation, and internal communication processes
  • Assist in meeting preparation and follow-ups, including summarizing key decisions and tracking progress
  • Contribute to building structure and strategy within the division and across the company
  • Support the CFOO in daily workflows, including organizational and administrative matters with situational flexibility
  • Independent execution and support of strategic projects with significant business impact (cost, revenue, efficiency)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes, supply chain, systems, and operational reporting
  • Deeply understand the CFOO scope, including budgeting, cost management, organizational development, supply chain optimization, ESG topics, and system architecture
  • Act as the right hand of the CFOO in all administrative and organizational matters, including meeting management, project tracking, and follow-ups
  • Lead projects or deep dives independently when delegated by the CFOO

Your profile

  • Bachelor's or Master’s student in Business, Finance, Economics, Strategy, or related field
  • Deep interest in startups and scale-ups, with a passion for building strategy, structure, and processes
  • Highly motivated, fast learner with a hands-on and ownership-driven mentality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – you're comfortable with numbers and abstract thinking
  • Professional, discreet, and able to handle highly confidential topics with integrity
  • Clear and concise communicator in both English and German
  • Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets; bonus if you have experience with BI or reporting tools
  • Proactive, organized, and flexible – you can work independently and juggle changing priorities
  • High ceiling for learning – you're hungry to understand all aspects of company operations and finance

  • Working Hours: 20 - 38,5 hours per week
  • Location: Holzkern Headquarters, Autokaderstraße 33, 1210 Wien
  • Salary: The salary for this position starts at 2.800,- €. However, your actual wage depends on your professional experience and qualifications. We are open to overpayment for experience.
