ANGEHEUERT GmbH in Austria is seeking an Electrical Engineer to take ownership of electrical hardware development for a Road PowerPlant project. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to move from prototype to serial production and tackle real-world climate tech challenges.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware design, testing, and seamless integration of sensors, actuators, and control units, contributing to scalable renewable energy solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• At least 2 years of hands on experience in electrical hardware development, electronic product development or comparable engineering roles.
• Experience developing electrical systems from concept through production readiness.
• Strong knowledge of PCB design, circuit development, component selection and system integration.
• Experience with testing, validation and debugging of electronics systems.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English. German is considered an advantage.
• Ideally, you also bring experience with power electronics, embedded systems, renewable energy technologies or industrial product development.

Aufgaben

• Hardware development: Design and develop electrical hardware for the Road PowerPlant's next generation.
• Circuit design: Create electrical schematics, select components and design PCB layouts.
• Testing & validation: Perform simulations, laboratory testing, debugging and system validation.
• Prototype development: Develop prototypes and support the transition into serial production.
• System integration: Integrates sensors, actuators and control units into the product architecture.
• Cross-functional engineering: Collaborate with mechanical, hydraulic, software and physics teams to solve interdisciplinary challenges.
• Field testing: Support real-world testing and continuously improve hardware performance.
• Continuous improvement: Optimize electrical systems for reliability, manufacturability and scalability.
• Innovation: Contribute to future controller generations and electrical architectures for international deployment.
