About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to support substation installation and maintenance projects across Austria. This is a fixed-term position ideal for professionals with a strong background in high-voltage environments, particularly in the justification, installation, and commissioning of disconnectors. The role involves working closely with engineering teams, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment within high-voltage substations.

• Specialize in the justification, alignment, and mechanical operation of disconnector systems.

• Support commissioning activities, fault-finding, and performance testing.

• Interpret and follow electrical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, local regulations, and project specifications.

• Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to meet milestones and deadlines.

• Provide technical feedback and documentation during and after project completion.

• Adhere to all HSE policies and promote a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician with valid certification or license to work in Austria.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in substation or high-voltage electrical projects.

• Demonstrated experience with the justification and installation of disconnector mechanisms.

• Strong knowledge of electrical standards and operational procedures in substation environments.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings.

• Proficient in both mechanical and electrical alignment of substation equipment.

• Fluent in German (spoken and written) - mandatory.

• Valid EU driving license and willingness to travel to various project sites within Austria.
