IBD Romania is seeking a German-speaking Electrical Technical Specialist or Electrical Engineer to support plant documentation and data management at our Schwechat, Austria site. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, equipment documentation and existing plant records.
• Support the organisation, migration and updating of technical information in COMOS and relevant documentation systems.
• Transfer information from drawings and source documents into structured equipment and database records.
• Maintain electrical schematics, equipment lists, cable data and related documentation within the assigned scope.
• Incorporate approved drawing corrections and plant modifications to keep records up to date.
• Identify inconsistencies between documents and database entries and support their resolution.
• Work with engineering, maintenance and project teams to clarify technical information.

Electrical Technical Specialist / Electrical Engineer — Plant Documentation and Data Management | On-site / Hybrid

We are looking for a German-speaking Electrical Technical Specialist or Electrical Engineer to support technical documentation and database updates for industrial process plants.

The opportunity is open to qualified electricians, electrical technicians, technical specialists and engineers who understand industrial electrical systems and can accurately interpret and structure technical information. A university degree is not mandatory. COMOS knowledge is preferred, but training can be provided to candidates with a suitable technical background.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, equipment documentation and existing plant records.

• Relevant experience in refineries, petrochemical or chemical plants, oil and gas, or comparable industrial facilities.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and equipment documentation.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a structured approach to technical data.
• Good written and spoken German.
• Confidence using digital documentation tools and willingness to learn COMOS.
• Experience with COMOS, technical databases or electrical CAD/CAE software is an advantage.

Working environment

The position is based at the company’s headquarters in Schwechat, close to Vienna, Austria. The role supports documentation and engineering activities for process-industry clients, with a focus on accurate technical records and data management.

On-site presence is required; any hybrid arrangement is subject to agreement and project requirements.
