Job summary

OMICRON electronics GmbH in Austria seeks an Electrical Engineer - Technical Support to assist international customers with product usage and technical queries by phone, email, and on-site visits.

You will conduct trainings for customers and colleagues, represent OMICRON at product presentations, trade fairs, and events, and actively advocate for customer needs while documenting interactions and maintaining our knowledge base.

Qualifications

• Technical training in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~10% of time).

• You support international customers and assist them with using our products as well as with technical questions and issues – by phone, email, and on-site.
• You conduct training sessions for customers and colleagues and represent OMICRON together with our sales team at product presentations, trade fairs, and events.
• You act as the voice of our customers, understand their needs, and actively advocate for their concerns.
• You document customer interactions, maintain our knowledge database, and monitor market requirements to drive the further development of our products.
• You network with our international colleagues, exchange experiences, and actively contribute your product and application expertise to our innovation process.

• You have completed technical training (HTL diploma or university degree) in electrical engineering, electronics, or mechatronics.
• Excellent communication in German and English is no problem for you.
