AT&S Leoben is seeking an Electrical & Automation Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of industrial electrical and automation systems. You will troubleshoot issues, optimize equipment, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve machine performance and reliability.

You will work with Siemens SIMATIC S7 PLCs, TIA Portal, and drive systems, supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical and automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens SIMATIC S7 PLCs, TIA Portal, industrial drives, and fieldbus systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience with PROFINET and PROFIBUS network installation, commissioning, and diagnostics; strong root-cause analysis skills.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical and automation systems including LV and MV equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Siemens PLCs, TIA Portal, servo drives, motors, relays, and I/O systems.
• Read, analyze, and troubleshoot PLC programs written in LAD, FBD, STL, and SCL.
• Install, commission, and maintain PROFINET and PROFIBUS networks.
• Perform cable installation, shielding, grounding checks, and diagnostics.
• Read electrical schematics and perform root-cause analysis of failures.
• Collaborate with suppliers on software/hardware improvements and optimize processes.
