You'll lead a small, specialised team focused on procurement governance, policy, and reporting. This includes overseeing compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), shaping procurement frameworks, and providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and tools.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, CPRs, and internal governance requirements.
• Oversee procurement reporting.
• Analyse procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide expert advice to stakeholders and build strong internal relationships.
• Develop team capability and support continuous improvement across the function.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in procurement governance and reporting, ideally in government or complex regulated environments.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and advisory skills.
• Expertise in risk management, compliance, and procurement frameworks.
• Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and strategic sourcing.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CIPS) and a degree in business, law, finance, or similar.
