Overview

ECG Engineering are leaders in the Electrical Engineering space, delivering design and project delivery services to the Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial sectors with extensive Renewables experience and proven capabilities in Australia, and around the world.

With offices in Perth, Brisbane, Toronto, Manila & Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, ECG have the capability to design and deliver on complex projects, from early study work to commissioning and handover, drawing on the expertise of senior ECG personnel who have worked together for 30 + years.

With an increase in project workload, ECG Engineering requires a Document Controller to join our Welshpool office, to track and co-ordinate technical documentation and manage / update the drawings register across multiple projects. These technically sophisticated projects run in multiple time zones and continents and are underpinned by technical drawings and documentation, whose organization and filing is critical.

This position will suit a Document Controller, or Project Administrator who has experience in the high pressure workplace of major projects, or the complex technical environment of engineering and construction using QDMS.

Key to success in the role will be your ability to demonstrate your methodical nature and attention to details in a fast paced distraction laden environment.

Working with an established team, you will be responsible for Document Control deliverables working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely, cost effective and fit for purpose Document Control services, complying with company requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar administration role with QDMS experience
  • Provision of administrative support to engineering / project teams
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products and document preparation
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and problem solve issues as they arise
  • Good planning and organisational skills and able to coordinate priorities effectively
  • An energized positive nature
