Jobbeschreibung

Duo Trading Pty Ltd is a Tasmanian owned and operated company, that has been trading since 1976. We have multiple warehouses throughout Tasmania, with the head office being located in Derwent Park TAS 7009.

The role of Distribution Manager is becoming available in the near future, which sees an expansion of the existing role of warehouse manager. This role is to assume responsibility for an existing fast-paced department that is increasingly expanding due to the current level of growth in the business.

The expansion of this existing role allows the opportunity to further assist management in the business by taking on more responsibilities including preparing and processing purchase orders, stock control & general management of stock movements throughout Tasmania & mainland Australia.

The role is made up of the following current responsibilities:

  1. Managing the day-to-day operation of the company's main warehouse including 2 additional staff.
  2. Managing calls from a statewide sales team of 8 members, regarding incoming & outgoing freight.
  3. Ensuring that our local delivery service is organized and maintained in line with the set schedule.
  4. Liaising with other department managers to help maintain our central ordering system.
  5. Inwards goods receipting of stock & ensuring required stock takes are completed.

It would be expected that the applicant would have a good understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite of products and also know how to use computerized accounting software. Previous experience working in or managing a warehouse operation is required as well as a current forklift license.

An attractive remuneration package is offered subject to standard working hours, entitlements & superannuation contributions are all included with this role.
