We Are Hiring | IT End User Support Specialist (L1 Support Technician) | Vienna, Austria (On-site)

We are currently seeking experienced IT End User Support Specialists (Level 1) for a full-time, on-site position based in 1091 Vienna, Austria. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong technical support background and excellent customer service skills.

Location: Vienna or surrounding areas

Start Date: Immediate (ASAP)

Work Type: Full-time (FTE) One-year B2B Freelance contract will be provided

Language Requirement: Fluent German (C1) – mandatory

Eligibility: Valid work permit for Austria is required


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Respond to user queries via phone, email, or in-person
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, printers, and peripherals
  • Guide users through issue resolution and provide training when needed
  • Maintain support documentation and follow ITIL-aligned processes
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems' performance and availability


Qualifications

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in an IT support role
  • Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and/or Linux environments
  • Solid understanding of networking and troubleshooting fundamentals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation are considered an advantage
