CLC Consulting in Austria seeks an experienced Data Architect to lead enterprise‑wide data architecture initiatives. You will design and evolve data models, establish governance standards, and partner with Data Engineers, BI teams and solution architects.

The role requires translating business requirements into scalable data structures, defining modeling guidelines, and driving decisions on data flows and system integrations.

What you will be doing?

• Design and evolve enterprise-wide data models and architecture standards
• Establish consistent approaches for structuring, managing, and governing business-critical data
• Act as the central link between business stakeholders, Data Engineers, BI teams, and solution architects
• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable data structures and technical concepts
• Define modeling guidelines, best practices, and architectural principles across multiple business units
• Drive decisions around data structures, integrations, and system interactions

Ideal profile looks like this:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Architect, Data Modeler, or similar senior data-focused role
• Fluent English and German (minimum B2 German)
• Deep practical expertise in data modeling, including designing complex relational data structures
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data flows, and system integrations
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or comparable technologies.
• Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership in complex environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
