MED-EL in Innsbruck, Austria, is seeking a cybersecurity specialist to join the IT Cybersecurity Team. You will implement and operate security solutions across systems, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments, working closely with IT and engineering to strengthen defenses and secure operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree plus 3–4 years of cybersecurity experience, plus hands-on work in at least two areas such as endpoint security, monitoring, vulnerability management, or network

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree (University/FH) in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 3–4 years in Cybersecurity/IT Security/Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in at least two areas: endpoint security, security monitoring, vulnerability management, network/infrastructure security, or cloud security.
• Experience with scripting and automation is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, proactive and collaborative working style.
• Excellent English communication; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Implement, operate, and enhance cybersecurity solutions to protect systems, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
• Monitor, analyze, prioritize, and respond to security alerts, incidents, and threats; recommend mitigations.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering to ensure secure architectures, configurations, and processes.
• Support investigation and remediation of security incidents, including incident response and forensics.
• Automate and optimize cybersecurity processes to improve efficiency and quality.
