Cyber-Physical Security Specialist (all genders)

Being part of Group Security, Group (Cyber)Physical Security is responsible for respective group-wide governance and specific security initiatives on strategic and operational level within Erste Group. Covering all relevant aspects of physical and cyber-physical security enables us to face new challenges in a transdisciplinary approach integrating logical security aspects into physical security concepts.

Your Tasks

• Drive IT initiatives within Group (Cyber)Physical Security, supporting both local and Group-wide security initiatives.
• Support developing security governance frameworks and policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards while establishing best practices across Erste Group.
• Serve as a strategic business enabler, bridging security requirements with operational needs to ensure solutions that secure business while also supporting it.
• Support our striving for security with social responsibility and a violence-free environment for all employees, customers, and visitors.
• Identify and mitigate both physical and cyber-physical threats on Group-level and for Erste Bank Oesterreich with a strong focus on cyber-physical topics.
• Break new ground in the integration of ESG aspects in big building security.

Your Background

• Technical Expertise: Proven IT background with experience in networking infrastructure, software development, or related technical fields.
• Security & Emerging Technologies: Working knowledge of IT security principles, IoT ecosystems, or network architecture.
• Multilingual Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Project Management: Strong organizational capabilities with demonstrated attention to detail, even when managing multiple priorities.
• Collaborative Mindset: Genuine team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and adapts quickly to diverse working styles.
• Innovation-Driven: Creative problem-solver who challenges conventional approaches and demonstrates initiative in proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
