Siemens Mobility Austria GmbH in Vienna seeks a Contract Manager (m/f/d) for its international projects. You will analyze, draft and evaluate contracts with customers and suppliers, manage amendments and claims, and assess deviations to protect project value.

The role interfaces with legal, commercial, engineering and procurement teams. The ideal candidate holds a law or related degree with 3–5 years in contract/claim/project management on complex infrastructure or rolling stock projects, and

Qualifikationen

• University degree in law or economic/technical field with basic legal training
• Strong interest and knowledge of contract law; 3–5 years in contract/claim/project management in infrastructure
• Willingness to learn technical details to bridge law and technology
• Interest in using AI to improve quality and efficiency
• Structured, analytical, proactive, good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Fluent German and English; Romanian or Eastern European language is a plus

Aufgaben

• Analyse, draft and evaluate customer and supplier contracts, identify opportunities/risks during project management
• Support creation, negotiation and enforcement of amendments with customers/suppliers; document and prosecute claims
• Analyse deviations in costs, deadlines and scope; perform delay analyses and assess impacts
• Identify downtime, obstructions and productivity losses; prepare evidence to back claims
• Collaborate with project management, commercial, engineering, procurement and legal to negotiate and enforce claims
