Siemens Mobility Austria GmbH in Vienna seeks a contract specialist to analyse, draft and evaluate customer and supplier contracts, identifying opportunities and risks for project teams.
You will support amendments, manage claims, and analyse deviations in costs, deadlines and scope, coordinating with legal and engineering to enforce rights on claims.

You will analyse, draft and evaluate customer and supplier contracts, identify relevant opportunities and risks during project management and advise the project teams competently on contract-related issues.
In addition, you will support the creation, negotiation and enforcement of amendments vis-à-vis customers and suppliers, ensuring the documentation and prosecution of claims as part of claim management.
You will analyze project deviations in terms of costs, deadlines and scope of services, carry out delay analyses and evaluate the causes and effects of schedule deviations.
In doing so, you will identify, document and assert downtime, obstructions and productivity losses and support the project teams in preparing evidence to enforce additional costs and compensation claims.
You will work closely with the areas of project management, commercial management, engineering, procurement and legal counsel and accompany negotiations as well as the out-of-court or judicial enforcement of claims.
You have successfully completed a university degree in law or an economic/technical university degree with basic legal training.
You have a special interest and in-depth knowledge of contract law and ideally have already gained 3-5 years of professional experience in contract management, claim management or project management in the context of complex infrastructure or rolling stock projects.
You have a pronounced willingness to familiarize yourself with the technical details of infrastructure projects in order to form an effective interface between law and technology.
You are very interested in using AI to increase the quality and efficiency of your work.
Personally, you are characterized by a structured, analytical way of working, initiative, strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation.
You are willing to travel nationally and internationally.
Since you work in an international project environment, you are fluent in both written and spoken German and English. Ideally, you also have excellent knowledge of Romanian or another Eastern European language.
We offer an attractive compensation package that reflects your qualifications and professional experience. The gross annual salary for this position, as defined by the applicable collective agreement, is at least EUR 65,041.34. Depending on your education and experience, a higher salary may be offered.
