About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Counsel and Company Secretary, the Contract Manager will play a key role in supporting the Executive Team and ensuring the effective management of contracts, governance processes, and operational activities. This diverse role offers exposure to high-level stakeholders, legal matters, ESG initiatives, and finance related tasks all while contributing to the success of Celsus\' operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Contracts: Ensure consistent contract management, prepare reporting dashboards and regular reports, process Modifications and Minor Works requests, maintain registers, attend to correspondence, and attend operational meetings.
  • Governance Support: Prepare Board and Committee minutes, support governance processes, and assist with reports such as the Modern Slavery report.
  • Legal Assistance: Support discovery requests, coordinate with external lawyers, and assist with legal disputes as required.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the client, subcontractors, financiers, and shareholders to address queries and operational issues.
  • ESG Initiatives: Contribute to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) projects by creating case studies and social media content.
  • Finance Support: Assist with invoicing queries related to Modifications and Minor Works.
  • Prepare reports for submission to internal teams, the Board, and external stakeholders.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Contract Manager or similar position (4+ years preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and demonstrated success in managing complex contracts.
Skills & Attributes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate to advanced), Power BI, Canva; exposure to Aconex, Intralinks, or Complispace is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy in work.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while working both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with experience engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to completing tasks.
  • Strong planning, time management, and report compilation skills.
  • Commitment to discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
  • A Law Degree together with additional qualifications in contract management, project management, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
