As part of the Cloud Engineering team, you'll lead initiatives to enhance our infrastructure, automation, and systems. You’ll collaborate closely with software developers to solve challenges and implement scalable solutions using Terraform and AWS. Creative thinking and teamwork are central to how we work.

We're looking for someone with experience in AWS infrastructure, strong collaboration and troubleshooting skills, and a good grasp of software development best practices. Passion, curiosity, and a willingness to learn are just as important as technical skills.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement a scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure for our services in AWS
  • Improve the automation of our software development lifecycle
  • Manage the configuration of cloud services using infrastructure as code
  • Perform research and make an in-depth analysis of infrastructure projects
  • Keep our environments and services up-to-date and running smoothly
  • Continuously improve and refine deployment strategy (CI/CD)
  • Improve our monitoring and alerting strategy for our services
  • Utilize your experience and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve production issues
  • Incident and event response, together with the software engineers

Our technology stack

  • Amazon Web Services (EKS, CloudFront, IAM, EC2, Aurora MySQL, and many more)
  • Terraform / Terragrunt
  • Linux (Debian, Alpine, Ubuntu)
  • Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
  • Git, Bitbucket, Jira, CircleCI, DataDog
  • IoT MQTT devices

We are looking for someone with

  • Several years of experience in an infrastructure role working with AWS services, e.g. IAM, VPC, EKS, RDS Aurora MySQL, SQS, EC2, Lambda
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform in particular
  • Knowledge of containerization, preferably Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
  • DevOps experience, especially in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Good familiarity with networking concepts and best practices
  • Ability to calmly and efficiently debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills conducive to teamwork and collaboration
  • A strong command of written and spoken English

That said, we’d be particularly delighted to hire someone with

  • Background utilizing and supporting monitoring and analytical tools such as DataDog, Graphana etc.
  • AWS Certification of ‘Solutions Architect Associate’ or higher
  • Experience with SQL and database optimization
  • DevSecOps and GitOps experience
  • Machine learning and/or data pipeline infrastructure experience
  • Knowledge of additional languages (human and machine)
