What will you be doing?

The Regional Manager will report directly to the Clinical Director. They will be responsible for overseeing high-quality Allied Health and Behaviour Supports whilst ensuring each of their team members meet benchmark service delivery goals. The Regional Managers role is to oversee all participant directed work within their region including risk management, pro-active solutions and day-to-day operations. The Regional Manager is required to make decisions with minimal to no oversight of the Clinical Director or CEO and is responsible for implementing Allora’s mission of offering NDIS participants a quality first service to remove restrictive practices.

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience

At least 3 years of experience as a behaviour practitioner and at least 2 years of leadership experience. Minimum proficient capability is required.

• Ability to lead team members to meet service delivery targets and manage accordingly.

• Exceptional public speaker and ability to liaise with government and non-government organisations.

• Leads by example. Must be approachable and responsive, who can react assertively to competing demands on the PBS team.

• Evidence with compliant note taking and experienced in mitigating professional risk and supporting others to do so.

• Demonstrated competence in the use of information technology, internet, and desktop applications, e.g., electronic client management systems, Microsoft Office, and database packages.

• Experience in working within a billable hour framework and being able to hit service targets and lead a team to ensure targets are met.

• Sound understanding of Positive Behaviour Support, the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework and the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission.

• Sound understanding of the DHS Restrictive Practices Guidelines.

• Knowledge and experience working with people that have behaviours of concern that families, carers and / or members of the community find challenging.

• Sound knowledge of the NDIS ECEI Framework

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and support others to do so.

• Experience in working with people with disabilities and their families. Experience in working with NDIS participants and other relevant stakeholders.

• Skills, knowledge, and experience working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

• Understanding of the principles and evidence-based practice regarding the delivery of positive behaviour support approaches within diverse environments, including their home, community supports and within forensic mental health settings including in-patient wards and prisons.

• Ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively.

• have a DCSI Working with Children Check (WWCC)

• have a NDIS Worker Clearance (DHS)

• Complete all other relevant checks required.
