Zusammenfassung

Tandem Diabetes Care is recruiting for a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist / Territory Manager Diabetes (m/w/d) region West in Österreich, primarily remote with travel. You will promote Tandem products, educate clinicians and patients, and build trusted partnerships with endocrinologists and diabetes teams.

Ideal candidates bring several years in clinical sales, strong knowledge of insulin pump therapy and CGM, and excellent communication skills in German and English.

Qualifikationen

  • Several years in clinical sales or medical device distribution within diabetes care.
  • Strong knowledge of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, pump therapy and CGM.
  • Fluent German and good English; willing to travel in Austria.

Aufgaben

  • Achieve sales targets in the assigned territory and build key relationships.
  • Develop relationships with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, clinics and KOLs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand regional market presence.
  • Provide clinical guidance on insulin pump therapy, AID systems and CGM.
  • Deliver product trainings for medical staff and patients; support trainers.
  • Attend regional and national conferences and industry events.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs and Customer Support.
  • Document all activities in the CRM; ensure regulatory and privacy compliance.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

At Tandem Diabetes Care, we’re transforming the future of insulin pump therapy — and we’re growing fast. The Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist is directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Tandem Diabetes products and clinical services within the assigned territory. He / She is expected to plan and ensure achievement of sales goals through clinical acceptance of Tandem products’ insulin pump therapy. Identifying potential customers, establishes and develops business relationships to facilitate Tandem Diabetes' products and clinical services. This isn’t just about hitting sales targets. It’s about being a trusted clinical partner to healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers — especially those navigating the complexities of Type 1 diabetes. Uses clinical expertise to provide account sales support and continuing education in direct contact to patients, physicians and their staff on the technical use of insulin pump therapy and special considerations related to pump therapy in the marketplace to generate sales. Promotes Tandem Diabetes products and services by providing additional education on topics such as diabetes self‑management skills, emergency management and community resources as determined by client needs. You’ll work closely with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to increase product adoption, improve outcomes, and build long‑term advocacy for Tandem solutions. Für diese Position suchen wir einen Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist / Territory Manager Diabetes (m/w/d) für unsere Vertriebsregion West in Österreich. Deine Aufgaben:
  • Verantwortung für die Erreichung der Vertriebsziele in Deinem Gebiet
  • Aufbau und Pflege langfristiger Beziehungen zu Endokrinologen, Diabetesberatern, Kliniken und weiteren relevanten Ansprechpartnern im Gesundheitswesen (KOLs)
  • Identifikation neuer Geschäftsmöglichkeiten und Ausbau der regionalen Marktpräsenz von Tandem Diabetes Care
  • Klinische Beratung und Unterstützung rund um Insulinpumpentherapie, AID-Systeme, CGM-Technologien und Diabetes-Selbstmanagement
  • Durchführung von Produktschulungen und Fortbildungen für medizinisches Fachpersonal und Patienten
  • Unterstützung von Pumpentrainern im Rahmen von Zertifizierungen und Rezertifizierungen
  • Teilnahme an regionalen und nationalen Kongressen, Fachveranstaltungen und Messen
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Teams aus Vertrieb, Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs und Customer Support
  • Dokumentation aller Aktivitäten im CRM-System
  • Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller regulatorischen, qualitätsrelevanten und datenschutzrechtlichen Vorgaben
Dein Profil:
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im klinischen Vertrieb, Medizintechnikvertrieb, Medizinprodukteberatung oder in der Diabetesversorgung
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich Typ-1- und Typ-2-Diabetes, Insulinpumpentherapie, Hybrid‑Closed‑Loop-Systeme und CGM-Technologien
  • Ausgeprägte Fähigkeit, vertrauensvolle Beziehungen zu medizinischen Fachkräften und Patienten aufzubauen
  • Hohe Kommunikations- und Präsentationsstärke
  • Selbstständige, strukturierte und ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise
  • Sicherer Umgang mit CRM-Systemen und digitalen Arbeitsmitteln
  • Hohe Reisebereitschaft innerhalb des Vertriebsgebietes
  • Fließende Deutschkenntnisse sowie gute Englischkenntnisse
  • Idealerweise eine Ausbildung als Diabetesberater DDG, Gesundheits‑ und Krankenpfleger, Diätassistent oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit Key Opinion Leadern (KOLs) und komplexen Kundenstrukturen ist von Vorteil
  • Persönlicher Bezug zur Diabetesversorgung oder Erfahrung im Bereich Endokrinologie ist wünschenswert
