Job summary

The International Atomic Energy Agency is seeking a Consultant to oversee the project implementation of combat soil salinity under the SWMCN Subprogramme. You will manage day-to-day CRP activities, coordinate with partners, and ensure timely progress and reporting.

The role requires an advanced degree in agricultural or environmental sciences, at least five years in UN project contexts, and strong English communication, with proficiency in MS Office and Adobe tools.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree (masters) in agricultural sciences, soil science, environmental sciences or related disciplines.
• Minimum five years of work experience in project management and budgeting specifically within the UN System.
• Experience in capacity-building measures in program/project implementation.
• Clear communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
• Experience in liaising with key stakeholders and key relationship management.
• Experience in project progress reporting.
• Experience in developing brochures and guidelines for knowledge dissemination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall project management and technical expertise for the day-to-day activities of the CRP.
• Coordinate regular meetings with CRP partners and participants.
• Monitor CRP progress and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
• Maintain a database and provide regular updates of data across countries.
• Develop and prepare brochures and guidelines for knowledge dissemination.
• Communicate and coordinate with CRP partners to ensure timely delivery of outputs.
