Job Summary

Responsible for selling NetApp’s Products, Solutions, and Cloud Data Services, as well as maintaining positive ongoing relationships to meet evolving customer needs.

Job Requirements
  1. Prospecting, developing business opportunities, creating proposals for presentation to customers, and booking business for NetApp.
  2. Engaging with new levels and buyer profiles (Cloud Architect, Application Developer, Chief Data Scientist, Chief Information Officer, etc.).
  3. Discovering opportunities for NetApp to co-create customer value by effectively gathering information about what the customer values most from a business perspective throughout the sales process.
  4. Discussing business issues with customers and developing formal quotes, sales proposals, or presentations addressing their business needs.
  5. Collaborating with colleagues within the department and across functions.
  6. Understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  7. Conveying information clearly and providing analysis to help customers make buying decisions.
  8. Managing a specific geographical install base and medium to large accounts, with or without own account responsibility.
  9. Working with senior internal personnel and supporting the sales effort through direct customer contact.
Education

IC - Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience.
Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
