Qualifikationen

Overview

Centre Director – Early Childhood Education
Numurkah, Victoria | Up to $130K + Relocation Bonus

A brand-new early learning centre is opening in Numurkah in 2026, and we’re looking for an experienced Centre Director to lead the team. This is a rare chance to establish a new service, shape its culture, and create high-quality learning experiences for children and families.

A relocation incentive of up to $10,000 is available for those moving more than 100km.

The Role

As Centre Director (and Nominated Supervisor), you’ll oversee all aspects of operations – from compliance, staffing, and enrolments to budgets, community engagement, and educational leadership. You’ll guide and mentor a dedicated team to deliver inclusive, play-based programs under the EYLF, VEYLDF and NQS.

About You

We’re seeking a strong leader with:

  • Proven management experience in early childhood education.
  • In-depth knowledge of the NQF, Child Safe Standards, and sector regulations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence in managing budgets, staffing, and centre operations.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood (ECT highly regarded).
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid.
  • Police Check (and international if required).
  • Additional training in anaphylaxis, asthma, and mandatory reporting (or willingness to obtain).
