at is seeking an experienced Casual Duty Manager to join our team, working in the cellar door and venue. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals seeking sociable hours and work‑life balance around university or other commitments.

The successful candidate will ideally be available for three shifts across Friday to Monday; shifts end at 10pm on Fridays and 6pm on other days; no gaming and minimal late‑night trading.

Qualifikationen

  • RSA certificate required or in progress.
  • Experience in hospitality management is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and customer‑first mindset essential.
  • Proven ability to manage cash handling and reconciling procedures.

  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of Cellar II venue.
  • Lead and support weekend staff, including timesheet management.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain communication standards.
  • Manage opening/closing procedures and cash reconciliation.
  • Assist with stock ordering, inventory control and stock management.
  • Conduct wine tastings and provide engaging guest experiences.
  • Execute private events and large group bookings on weekends.
  • Maintain venue presentation and guest experience.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Casual Duty Manager to join our team working in the cellar door and venue.

This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional looking to enjoy more sociable hospitality hours, or someone seeking great work‑life balance around university or other commitments.

The successful applicant will ideally be available for three shifts across Friday to Monday.

Our venue operates primarily during the daytime, with no gaming and minimal late‑night trading. Shifts conclude at 10pm on Fridays and 6pm on all other days.

You will become part of a close‑knit, high‑performing team in a dynamic and growing hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our Cellar II venue
  • Lead and support weekend staff, including timesheet management
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong communication standards
  • Manage venue opening, closing and cash reconciliation procedures
  • Assist with stock ordering, inventory control and stock management
  • Conduct wine tastings and provide engaging wine experiences for guests
  • Execute private events, functions and large group bookings on weekends with the support of casual hospitality staff
  • Maintain high standards of venue presentation, service and guest experience
  • Ensure the venue closes smoothly each evening, professionally managing guest departures at the end of service

  • Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa
