Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and process purchase requisitions
• Process purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers
• Manage purchase order releases daily to meet demand requirements
• Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner
• Work with the suppliers on a daily basis to assure scheduled deliveries are met
• Understand, maintain weekly reports
• Develop and maintain key supplier relationships with day-to-day interface (peer level) to review open action items, suppliers performance to commitments of on time deliveries, future demand and future cost reductions forecasting

Who We’re Looking For

• Commercial education - e.g. apprenticeship (LAP) or HAK
• Work experience in an industrial environment would be an asset but not a requirement
• Very good MS Office skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Compensation

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group D or E depending on education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The chosen candidate will be hired through third party employment agency.
