Zusammenfassung

Worldline is seeking a Business Engineer to analyze end-to-end business and IT requirements for cashless payments. You will balance customer needs, product offering, capabilities, and time-to-market with cost pressures.

You will translate strategy into practical solutions, drive analysis and design, and collaborate with delivery teams to shape optimal client solutions. A dynamic, analytical, customer-focused profile with English and German is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience as a business analyst, business engineer or requirements engineer.
• Experience in the financial sector, especially in payments, is a big plus.
• Independent, dynamic working style with strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Fluent English and German.
• Knowledge of Confluence and Jira is a plus.
• Familiar with DevOps and agile methodologies.
• Degree (FH/University) in IT or Engineering.
• Mobile working within Austria and flexible working time models.

The opportunity

As a Business Engineer in an international team you will analyse E2E business and IT requirements for cashless payment transactions. You will consider various factors such as customer needs, standard product offering, product feature capabilities while also keeping complexity as low as possible and balance with time to market aspects and cost pressure. You will be required to analyse impact of changes and exchange with the delivery team representatives from different areas of the company to shape the best possible solution for our clients.

Day-to-day responsibilities

As the link between strategy and implementation, you translate requirements into practical solutions and lead the analysis and design processes to develop effective business capabilities:

• Analysis of customer and company needs
• Solution design for affected business applications, in cooperation with the development teams and architects
• Feasibility assessment and cost analysis
• Active steering of the implementation, jointly with the development teams
• Supporting the launch into production of new business features
• Acting as an interface function between product management, sales and development
• Leading small projects

• Experience in the financial sector especially in the payment industry is a big plus

• Very good level of English and German
• Good knowledge in Confluence and Jira is a plus
• Familiar with DevOps and agile methodoligies
• Experience in the API definition and in the payment industry is a "nice-to-have"
• Degree (FH/University) in IT or Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Mobile working within Austria and flexible working time models

Salary Information

In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the salary range for this position is between:

Italy: 48.600,- euro and 65.,800,- euro gross annual salary.

The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's professional experience, specific skills, and qualifications.
