Business Development Representative – Software

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative – Software to join our team in the US. This remote role involves acquiring new leads, nurturing client relationships, and closing sales by collaborating with Strategic Account Managers, leveraging social media, and participating in industry conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers to follow up on leads and sales opportunities.
  2. Implement cold outreach strategies to initiate and nurture potential client relationships.
  3. Close sales by demonstrating how our products meet client needs.
  4. Engage with existing clients to provide updates and renew contracts.
  5. Nurture client relationships to enhance loyalty and reduce churn.
  6. Oversee onboarding and training for new clients.
  7. Create content supporting all stages of the buyer’s journey.
  8. Represent the company at conferences and industry events.
  9. Leverage social media and blogs for product promotion and engagement.
  10. Solicit testimonials to build credibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years in Account Management or sales, preferably in software.
  • Experience selling to government agencies.
  • Proficiency in lead generation and cold outreach.
  • Success in using conferences for client acquisition.
  • Ability to conduct product demos and close sales.
  • Experience entering new markets.
  • Willingness to travel across North America as needed.
  • Salesforce Associate certification is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US.
