Role overview:

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of innovation in global payments, driving growth and strategic partnerships in the rapidly evolving sectors of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging and road user charging. As a Business Development Manager, you will lead initiatives that connect cutting-edge payment technologies with market opportunities, forging new pathways for customer acquisition, ecosystem expansion, and sustainable mobility. Your role will be key in identifying business opportunities and nurturing the existing ones, shaping go-to-market strategies, and building relationships that turn vision into commercial success.

What you will do:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth.

  • Identify and close new business opportunities through market research, networking, and a keen understanding of the EV charging landscape and its evolving payment ecosystems.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

  • Develop compelling presentations and proposals to secure new business.

  • Lead projects end-to-end, from securing client commitment and overseeing integration to successfully launching the pilot.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product) to align strategies.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

  • Occasional travel to represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related field.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for driving business growth.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with CRM systems and other sales tools is a plus.

  • Affiliation with EV charging and/or payments is a plus.
