REWE Group Austria IT, part of REWE International, seeks a Senior Business Analyst in GIS to translate business requirements into user stories for developers and data engineers. You’ll support domestic and international GIS applications across the landscape.

You will design and document GIS systems, coordinate with trading partners, maintain the GIS data warehouse, and help build a future-proof self-service GIS portal.

Qualificações

• Successful completion of a degree (university / UAS or similar) with a geographical focus.
• Sound GIS knowledge and experience with a desktop GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.).
• Experience with Safe Software FME, including design, development and maintenance of FME Workbenches for spatial data integration, transformation and automation workflows.
• Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with web mapping framework (Mapservice, Geoserver etc.).
• Experience in using visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, SAP Business Objects...).
• Strong conceptual, analytical and cartographic skills.
• Independent, structured, customer-, team- and solution-oriented way of working.
• Good written and spoken German & English.

Business Analyst (m/f/x) - Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

As the IT of the REWE Group Austria, we work together with our more than 700 employees to develop innovative IT products and services for all our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad, setting the tone for modern trade. Within our CRM Data & Insights product family, you will work on projects and solutions for our existing and future data landscape.

As an Senior Business Analyst in the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) team, you are mainly responsible for gathering and translating Business requirements into User Stories for the development team. In addition, you will accompany developments in our domestic and international GIS application landscape.

Together we create the basis for data-driven decisions in REWE Group's CRM environment.

• In your role, you act as an interface between our business partners and our software developers and data engineers
• Further development, support and documentation of the applications of our geographic information system
