riskine, a Vienna-based fintech, is hiring a Backend Developer (Junior to Mid-Level) to join the engineering team. You will contribute to building backend services powering riskine’s products while growing your skills in a modern tech stack including Docker, Python, PostgreSQL, Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Dapr, and Traefik.

Qualifikationen

• Foundation in backend or full-stack software development, with experience using Python.
• Experience building API-based web applications and microservices.
• Good understanding of HTTP, REST, authentication, and relational databases (SQL).
• Professional working proficiency in English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain backend features with experienced engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable code and support automated testing.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve issues across backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to design and integrate APIs.
• Test, debug, and improve API communication between services.
• Maintain technical documentation, data models, and API specifications.
• Deepen understanding of products, architecture, and engineering practices.
• Work with Docker, Python, PostgreSQL, Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Dapr, and Traefik.
